单元教材分析:

本单元围绕的主要话题是介绍动物特征,通过学习小动物的外貌特征和行为能力,学习运用身体部位名词、形容词、动词和They have…They can…等句型,并将自己喜爱的动物特征用一个完整的语段描述出来。文本中的长句 It has… and…They have no…or …but they have…是学生表达的难点。另外教师可以结合学生四年级上册Unit8的五官和体貌特征的词汇,设计教学活动,鼓励学生综合运用这些词汇描述动物。也可以让学生搜集与动物相关的信息、玩具等,做教学的拓展和巩固活动等。

学情分析:

本单元学习的内容也是学生比较感兴趣的话题内容,只要在上课时老师正确地引导学生去学习,学生的学习积极性一定会很高。因为牵涉到介绍动物的特征,所以涉及到第三人称单数形式“has”,可能在教学中会有部分学生掌握得不是很好,课堂上应该和学生多进行操练。本单元的内容,也牵涉到其他的一些第三人称单数形式,例如“likes, comes”,教师需要好好指导与引导,可结合这些做一些相关的口语练习。只要为学生多创设情境,再加上老师有正确到位的指导,那么学生的学习就会更轻松、简单一些。

一、教学目标:

1.能理解文章内容,用正确的语音语调朗读短文,并初步复述。

2.正确运用日常交际用语I have animal friends. It’s/They’re …. It/They can .... It        has/They have ….

3.能正确的听、说、读单词:animal, leg, body, arm, other, tail, wing.

4.通过学习培养学生对动物的热爱。

二、教学重点:

1.能正确文章内容,用正确的语音语调朗读短文,并初步复述。

2.会说会读单词:animal, leg, body, arm, other, tail, wing。

三、教学难点:

1.句型It has/They have ….的掌握与正确运用。

2.单词:animal等的正确发音。

四、教学具准备:

1.   教师准备:单词卡片,图片,多媒体课件,板书等。

2.   学生准备:听Story time的录音,并预习这部分内容。

五、教学过程:                                                                     

Step 1 Warm and free talk

1课前播放:Enjoy a picture book(9张幻灯片,关于法国女孩在非洲与动物的生活照片,渗透It has… It can …句型)

2Play a game:quick response.

3.Braim storm:What animal do you know?Say as quickly as you can.

S:monkey ,tiger ,panda…they’re all animals.

4出示课题“Today,we will mainly talk about these four animal friends:

bird,goldfish,rabbit and dogs.

Step 2 Pre

1.I have two animal friend

(1)One likes eating bananas and peaches.

(2)Look,it’s a monkey,its name is Frank.

(3)The other likes eating banboos .

(4)Look,it’s a panda,its name is Pipi.

(5)Just ,I said:one …the other…读一读。

(6)Fox example,I have two animal friends,

one is Frank and the other is Pipi.

one is a monkey and the other is a panda.

One is brown and the other is black and white.

(7)Who can use “one …the other”to make some sentences.

2.Let’s listen and guess.

(1)I have an animal friend .It is brown.It has a small mouth,It has big ears and eyes.It has a long tail.It can jump and climb trees .What is it?

(2)S:It’s a monkey.

(3)出示:has,单数形式的有,We use has ,It has…

(4)T:It has a brown nose.It has big eyes(pay attentation :The monkey has two eyes ,so we should plus S.)

(5)出示:train——tail.learn how to read :tail.

          farm——arm,let——leg,daddy,bobby——body

(6)It has a big mouth and two ears.

3.如何谈论动物朋友呢?

(1)How to talk about animal friends?

(2)We can talk about animals’ colour,feature.

(3)Learning :How to decribe our animal friends?

(4)show:a:red,black,white——We can ask:What colour is it?

         b:big eyes ,big body,long tail,big ears——We can ask:What is it like?Here,like doesn’t mean “喜欢”,it means “看起来像”,so what is it like means 它像什么样子。

          c:run ,swim,jump,according to these answers,we can ask:What can it do?

(5)for example:a:Let’s look and say:

               b:Look, this is a dog,It’s white,It has:two big ears,a short tail,four legs.It can run and jump.

               c:Look,it’s a rabbit.It’s white.It has two big red eyes ,two long ears ,a short tail.It can…

4.Our friends are talking about their animal friend too.Who are they?

(1)Let’s watch and match.

(2)Try to answer Q1:What animals friend do they have?

(3)Watch and match.

T:Nancy has two fish,They’re goldfish.

Liu Tao has a rabbit.

Mike has a dog.

Su Hai has a bird,parrot(learn the new word)

(4)Look and say学生陈述答案。

(5)Let’s watch the cartoon again.(只看第一节Nancy)

(1)Read passage 1,and try to answer these questions.

(2)默读第1段,用查阅的方式回答以下问题:

5.enjoy some pictures about the person and animals.

(1)remember ,animals are our friends,please be kind to the animals.

1. Read the cartoon.熟读story time。

2. Talk about your animal friends with your classmates.
