4. Pupils can reuse the things and they can describe.
5. Pupils realize the earth is the only home, they should try their best to protect the Earth.
6. 能理解Culture time的内容,并适当扩展
7. 能意识到保护环境的重要性并付诸于实际生活

五、教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk and review the story time.
1. Well ,we know the Earth is our home .We need a clean and beautiful home ,so we should protect the Earth.Today we’ll learn Grammar Time and culture time.
2. Let’s know more about the earth.
(1)What’s the date?(4.22)What festival is it? It’s earth Day .
(2)How to read this date? What festival do you know?(World environment Day )
(3)Pollution is the biggest problem .so we should love and protect our earth .
(4)We should love the earth ,love life,we need save energy ,save the world .
3. How to save the earth and the world ,today we will talk aobut it.
Well,let’s play a guessing game. Try to guess what it is?
(1)Paper.句子由老师读。
(2)Plastic、wood ,coal and oil句子由学生读。
(3)Now ,we know paper and wood come from the trees ,the plastic comes from the oil,and coal and oil are important energy .They are all from the earth .The wood can make many things and the plastic is useful ,but too much of it is bad for our earth ,so we should protect th Earth.
(4)How to protect the Earth ,wo should …
What should we save?
We should save water ,energy and trees, we shouldn’t use too much plastic.
(5)But how to do these things ,Let’s read and find out the answers
- To protect the Earth ,we should save water.There is not much water in many places .Because the water is precious.(珍贵的)So don’t waste it.
- To protect the Earth ,we should save energy.
We have different energy ,for example ,the wind and the sun can offer us the energy .We use the winds to make electricity.So not all of the energy ,just most of the energy.
- To protect the Earth ,we should save trees.
Wood comes from trees .We use wood to make many things .Our desks ,our chairs ,our books and so on.So we need use the wood ,we should cut down some trees ,but we shouldn’t cut down too many trees ,and we should plant more trees to keep the balance.
- To protect the Earth ,we shouldn’t use too much plastic.
Why ?Because the plastic makes our city messy and dirty enywhere.
We need plastic ,it’s very light and convenient ,but too much of them is a serious problem.
- Now ,we know ,we should save water ,save wood ,save energy and we shouldn’t use too many plastic things.
Step 2 Guide into the Grammar time
1.Well ,the water is very useful .We cant’t live without water .What do you do to use water?
(1)We use water to …让学生尽量多的说。
Let’s read one by one.
(2)What about wood ,what do you do to use wood?
We use wood to …So ,wood is useful ,we should save trees.
(3)Plastic is useful.What do you do to use plastic?
a.We use plastic to make bags.
b.But we can reuse the plastic bags.
(4)Let’s read these and find out the rules .Do you find out some same words .We can use sb. instead of it.
Sb . use sth. to do sth.Well ,let’s use this sentence pattern to say sth.
Step 3 Consolidation.
1. Look ,order and say.Order What does it mean?
(1)The workers use wood to make desks.
(2)Sam uses plastic to make toy cars.
(3)Mike uses paper to make paper bags .
2. Just now ,we talked about “sb . use sth .to do sth.” ,now let’s talk about “reuse”.
(1)Look ,they’re CDs ,some paper bags ,a milk box ,a plastic bottle ,and some pencil stubs,(铅笔头)How do we reuse them.
(2)学生用Sb . reuse sth. to do sth .
- We reuse the plastic bottle to make a rocket.
- We reuse the toothpaste box to make a crane.
- We reuse cards to make a pen pot.
- We reuse paper cup to make a rabbit.
- We reuse paper box to make a tank.
- We reuse drink tins to make a boat.
(3)As long as we use our head ,we can always find out many ways to reuse these things.
3. Look ,on this picture ,how is our Mother Earth,do you want to know why?
(1) Becasuse many years ago ,there were a lot of forests ,but now we cut dowm too many trees.
(2) Becasuse many years ago ,the water in the river was very clean ,we can drink the water,but now there are many dead fish ,the water is polluted .
(3) Becasuse many years ago ,the sky is blue,the air is clean and fresh ,but now our city is full of the fog and haze.(雾霾)
(4) Look ,the rubbish make the earth messy and dirty.
(5) We cut down too many trees ,so it brings the terrible sandstorm.
(6) The seawater is polluted ,so the fish are dead ,they are stranding together on the beach.
4. So to protect our earth ,what should we do ,what shouldn’t we do?
(1)完成should 和shouldn’t 的句型操练。
(2)Let’s have a match. Please use should and shouldn’t to give us some suggestions to protect the earth .You are Group 1, you are Group 2.
(3)让回答正确的同学,贴绿色的小树。
Step 4. Summary and Homework.
1.Well ,let’s sum up today’s lesson .想要表达:使用某物做某事时,我们可以用: this sentence pattern :Sb . use sth. to do sth.
To protect our Earth ,what should we do ,What shouldn’t we do. 不管是should ,还是shouldn’t ,后面都要加动词原形。
