一. 教学目标:
1. 能听、说、读、写单词和词组more, be good at.
2. 能听、说、读单词和词组jog, do well in, need help with, do more exercise, player, true, ball games.
3. 能听、说、读、写句型Ben runs faster than Jim.
4. 能听、说、读日常交际用语That’s true. Mike runs as fast as Ben.
5. 能正确理解A部分对话内容,并能熟练朗读。
二. 教学重点:
能掌握四会单词及日常交际用语,正确理解课文并能流利地朗读。
三. 教学难点:
能通过情景创设理解语篇,并能较流利地朗读。

多媒体课件、录音机、课文磁带

Step1. Warming up
1. Free talk
(1)T: Today I got up early ,because I don’t want to be late for our class. I want to be a wonderful teacher. Do you want to be a good student?
(2)Ss: Yes!
Step2. Presentation and practice
1.学习be good at , do well in
(1)T: Great! Now please look at the screen. Try to answer me some questions.
Q1:Do you often get up early in the morning?
Q2: Are you good at English?
Q3: Do you do well in PE?
(2)T: Q1:Do you often get up early in the morning?
①S1: Yes, I do.
②T: What time do you get up?
S1: I get up at…
T: You get up early.(指另一名学生问) What time do you get up?
S2:I get up at…
T:So you get up earlier than …
③T: What time does your mother get up?
S3: My mother gets up at …So your mother gets up earlier than you.

T: He is a good runner. He is good at running. And that’s mean =He does well in running.
(4)出现:菲尔普斯
T:He is a good swimmer. He’s got 8 gold medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games
.He’s good at swimming. And that’s mean =He does well in swimming.
(5)出现:姚明和刘翔
T:
S:No, He plays better than us .

2.快速读课文回答问题,学习课文中相关词组
(1)过渡:
T:Boys and girls, now I know what you are good at , and what do these famous sportsmen do well in?
But what about our friends?(多媒体出示Jim的图片)What is he good at? Does he do well in PE?
Now please listen to the record and answer the questions.
(2)前言:听录音,回答问题
Q1:What is Jim good at ?
Q2:What doesn’t Jim do well in ?
小结:So Jim is good at English and Maths,but he doesn’t do well in PE.
(3)左半边到P15第二行:看动画,回答问题
Q3:Do he do well in running?
Q4:What does he do well in?
Q5:Do he swim faster than his friends?
小结:So Jim is good at jumping ,but he doesn’t do well in
running and swimming.
过渡:How does he get stronger?Let’s read the text of P 15
(4)右半边:读课文,划横线,完成表格和书上的判断。
a.Read and underline the key words. 读一读,划出关键词。
b. Write T if the sentence is true.Write F if it is false.对的写T,错的写F。并校对。
c. Read and fill in the table 读一读,完成表格
d. 根据表格内容完成Jim的自述(提供必要的句型和表格)
3.学生跟录音读课文
T:You did good job,boys and girls, now let’s read after the tape, and pay attation to your prounaciation and your intonation.
Ss:学生逐句跟录音读,教师随机抽查个别学生朗读

学生先独立完成练习,然后指名一两位同学读答案,最后全班齐读
