一、教学内容:

Unit 6 Holidays  (Part A  Listen, read and say

二、教学目标:

1.复习巩固Part BPart C的单词和句型。

2.能正确运用对话中的日常交际用语:

Christmas is coming.

What holiday comes after Christmas?

What’s your favourite holiday?

3.能正确理解掌握对话内容,并能朗读,初步表演对话。

4.能运用本课所学语言谈论自己最喜欢的节日,并体会中西方文化差异。

能运用本课所学语言谈论自己最喜欢的节日。

五、教具准备:

PPT 单词卡片,节日图片

六、教学过程:

Step1 Greetings

Step2 Revision:

(PPT展示日历“六月一日)

T: We have learned the names of some holidays.

Let’s review them first.

Please look at the screen. What date is it ?

S: It’s the 1st of June.

T: Good! And it’s also a holiday.

  Do you know what holiday is it ?

S: It’s Children’s Day.

T: Well done! What do children usually do on Children’s Day?

S: They sing and dance.

T: Good job!

We can say children sing and dance on Children’s Day.

Let’ s read it together.

(PPT展示图片“嫦娥”)

T: Look at this picture, There’s a beautiful woman in the picture.

  Who is she?

S: She’s Chang Er.

T: You are right!

The beautiful woman is Chang Er.

She is the fairy in the moon.

  And she makes the moon cakes.

  What holiday is it?

S: Mid-Autumn Festival.

T: Good! And what do people usually do at Mid-Autumn Festival?

S: They usually watch the moon.

T: Anything else?

S: They usually eat moon cakes.

T: Well done! We can say people watch the moon and eat moon cakes at Mid-Autumn Festival.

  Let’s read the sentence together.

Step 3  Presentation (Part A):

T: Boys and girls, Let’s listen to a song and after that please answer my question what holiday is coming. Ok?

S: Ok!

(Listen to the song We wish you a merry Christmas.)

T: What holiday is coming?

S: Christmas.

T: Good job! Christmas is coming.

 (教句型Christmas is coming.读,讲解))

T: We know Christmas is on the 25th of December.

  What holiday comes after Christmas?

  (教词组come after “之后到来”,读句型,讲解句型。

T: What holiday comes after Christmas?

  Is it National Day?

S: No!

T: Is it Halloween?

S: No!

T: Who knows the answer?

S: New Year’s Day.

T: Good! New Year’s Day comes after Christmas.

T: Can you tell me any other holidays?

S: Yes …

T: You did a good job. Now please look at the screen.

  Let’s read it together.

T: You know my favourite holiday is Christmas.

T: Good! So today we will learn Unit 6 Holidays.

T: Now, let’s play a game. First, I want to invite one student to read the rules for us.

T: Do you understand?

  Here are the clues.

Step 5  Task:

T: Now we know a lot about holidays, right?

  Here’s a task for you. Talk about Chinese holidays.

  Make it clear that you should tell us the date and the activities of the holidays. You can use the sentences here.

Step 6  Homework:

1.    Listen to the tape and read after it 3 times.

2.    Write down the passage you made in the class.
