   Step1.Warm up & Lead in

Greeting

T: Nice to meet you. what’s your name? How old are you? What do you like doing?

T: Hello, boys and girls, today I’m your new English teacher. Do you know me? Can you ask me some questions about me?

S: Yes. What’s your name? How old are you? What do you like doing?

T: My English name is Apple. I’m twenty-nine. I like writing stories and teaching English .(Teach : write写\teach教)

So you know I’m a teacher. Teacher is my job.（Teach: job工作）

What do you do?(PPT出示此句并出示汉语意思)

S: I’m a student.

Step2. Presentation

1. PPT出示Su Hai and Mike 父母的图片

1 )T: What do they do? Let’s watch a cartoon and answer the question:

 what are Su Hai and Mike talking about?

S: They are talking about their parents’ jobs(工作)

what does he /she do? Listen to the tape and match

T: what does Mike’s father do?

S: He’s a teacher.

S(试问): what does Mike’s mother do?

S: She’s a writer.

T: Lu Xun is a writer.(Teach :writer 作家)

S(试问): what does Su Hai’s father do?

S: He’s a doctor.

S(试问): what does Su Hai’s mother do?

S: She’s a factory worker. (Teach: factory 工厂)

3. Do you know their job description?

Let’s read and find. Underline the sentences and say the key words.

(Teach: sick people 病人们; make sweets 做糖果)

Read and think: What are these verb phrases’ common point?

总结：当主语是第三人称单数：He/She/It/***时，后面的动词要加s或者es
